“I have always felt stirred by the exquisite beauty found in the simplest of nature’s creations. I studied Fine Art at the Rhode Island School of Design, and later completed an MFA at Art Center College of Design. As an artist I developed an interest in the distinct qualities of plants; colors, textures, the unique glow of a petal in the sun; I began to use plants as a tool in designing space. To better understand the science behind my subject, I returned to school and received a certificate in Gardening and Horticulture from UCLA.
In 1996, I started my own landscape design company. Now, over a decade later, DeLuca Landscape Design has built a reputation for creating unique environments. Our aim is to entice our clients out into the garden, to enjoy as an essential part of the home, from season to season, year after year.”
